Having lived in China, Hong Kong, United States, I've been shaped by the beauty of different cultures, which has sparked my curiosity about how people from diverse backgrounds connect and communicate. This background enables me to understand the value of creating experiences that resonate across cultures and languages.

Before moving into design, I spent ten years as an educator, where I intuitively applied the foundations of design thinking — building empathy, identifying problems, ideating creative solutions, and iterating based on feedback. Managing classrooms and leading projects taught me how to design with people at the center, a mindset that now deeply informs my user-centered design work.

My design process is quite straightforward : Define the problem and find the right solution. Not just identify "what" but constantly ask "why" instead. My approach is rooted in a strong belief in participatory design, I see users not just as subjects to study, but as active collaborators in the design process. Their voices and experiences are essential in shaping solutions that truly work. With a background in linguistics, I’m also really intrigued by how humans and machines communicate and enjoy exploring how design can bridge gaps and make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

Outside of work, you’ll find me practicing yoga, working on pottery wheel, snapping photos, or simply walking in nature . These hobbies fuel my creativity and give me space to think outside the box, drawing inspiration from both the stillness and movement in life.
